Supporting Ukrainian Veterans Through Sport, and Community in Greece
Since 2024, our club in Greece has been creating recovery programs for Ukrainian veterans
Veterans at the European Championship
More than a competition, this was a space for strength, dignity, connection, and recovery — with veterans standing alongside athletes as part of one team

Our work is not only about sport. It is about creating a safe and respectful space where Ukrainian veterans can recover physically, reconnect emotionally, and feel supported by people who truly care

A Club Built Around Real Human Support
From Community Support to Action
Since 2022, our work in Greece has grown from practical support for Ukrainians into a wider ecosystem that connects community work, sport, recovery, and international cooperation

Built on the Ukrainians in Greece Platform
This work was built on the foundation of our Ukrainians in Greece platform, which has helped people with housing, work, healthcare, education, daily adaptation, and connection with local institutions

Since 2024 — Supporting Ukrainian Veterans
Since 2024, we have been welcoming Ukrainian veterans in Greece and creating recovery opportunities through rowing, the sea, teamwork, and a respectful human environment

Recovery Through Sport and Dignity
Our approach combines physical activity, emotional support, and shared experience. Through rowing and team connection, veterans can recover strength, trust, balance, and a sense of support

Two European Championships Already Delivered
We organized and support two European Yal Rowing Championships in Greece with 120 athletes, including around 40 veterans. These events showed how sport can create real social impact

Fortis: A Veteran Voyage Along Olympus
The Fortis veteran rowing voyage along the coastline with views of Mount Olympus became a powerful symbol of endurance, teamwork, dignity, and inner strength

Preparing the 2026 European Championship
We are now preparing for the 3rd European Yal Rowing Championship in Greece in October 2026 as a major platform for sport, cooperation, veteran inclusion, and international visibility

A Working Base in Greece
With our team, communication channels, project structure, and working base in Marina Kalamaria, Thessaloniki, we already have the capacity to receive participants and run programs in practice

Why Sponsorship Matters Now
We have already built and delivered meaningful work in Greece, but we still lack the financial support needed to expand veteran programs, strengthen logistics, and grow our long-term impact
